Displeased with the money mindedness of groom's father, Bujjamma flees away from home with her jewels. But, her father wants to get her married off at any cost.Īt this juncture, the groom Abhimanyu's (Tarun) father Gopala Krishna demands them to pay the balance dowry else he warns them of halting the marriage. In a frantic pace to sort it out, Bujjamma expresses her discontent over the sudden marriage arrangements and tells her mother that she wants to meet the groom.
